I’m Adam Cruthirds and I would not be here today without St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Our team, Adam’s Army, raises awareness and funds for the hospital that saved my life.
In 2014, just before my junior year of high school, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Thirty one months later, after over 1,000 doses of chemo, I completed treatment on February 27, 2017. The treatment cost over $3,000,000, but our family never received a bill. My journey was tough and I lost many friends during treatment. That is why I do what I do.
